Who is Byron Roy Bierwag?
Byron Roy Bierwag wrote his debut novel, The Mausoleum, while living in Colorado around 2011. After completing it, he continued on to write the sequel, currently titled The House on Dreary Lane. However, before he could finish the sequel, he had moved back to his roots in northern Nevada, where he was finally able to finish it.
He found it difficult to balance a 40 hour per week job and write, so he put his writing on hold, spending more time looking for an agent and/or publisher who would accept his manuscript. It was at the end of 2013 when he finally found a publisher, Strategic Book Publishing and Rights, and the book was released in March of 2014. But he was unable to spend the time marketing and promoting that he needed to get the sales that he was aiming for, and it eventually failed.
Ten years later in 2024, he found another, more promising publisher who would be able to help him attain his goals. So, at the end of December 2024, he pulled his book from the previous publisher with the intent of moving forward with his new publisher, Hawes and Jenkins.
With Hawes and Jenkins, he was able to have more done with his book than he was able to have done the first time around. Editing was provided as part of the package, so he could have the other errors from the original publish corrected. With professional editing done, there were both print and digital versions created, allowing him to reach a broader audience.
The book was released on print in April of 2025 and digital in May of 2025. It is available on Barnes & Noble and Amazon in print. It is available on Barnes & Noble, Amazon, Apple iTunes Store, and Google Play for the digital version.
